Task Force on Geneva resolution to table report in April

The Advisory Special Task Force appointed to obtain views on the Geneva resolution that was adopted in favour of Sri Lanka last September will table their report in April.

The Committee obtains proposals and suggestions at district levels. The Committee said views were obtained from the public, defence forces and several organizations during the committee’s visit to Jaffna recently.

Proposals and suggestions can also be forwarded to the Committee via email.

The Committee will obtain views in two phases and the report will be tabled in two languages.

The committee is chaired by civil and human rights activist attorney Manori Muththettuwegama, while Dr. Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu was named the secretary of the 11 member committee.
