United National Party Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake has requested all relevant units to speed up investigations into corruption reported during the tenure of the United People’s Freedom Alliance led government.

Speaking to media in Kandy, MP Ravi Karunanayake said investigations should be held promptly like he was investigated.

The Parliamentarian said “If we being in the government is aware of what is happening why is it that the Attorney General’s Department cannot do anything about it for the past 28 months?”
