Arundika Fernando who was sacked as Deputy Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs says he will work towards defeating the good governance government.

Speaking to media the Parliamentarian said the public voted him in in confidence.

MP Fernando said he was elected to office by innocent people in Anamaduwa, Puttalam, Nattandiya, Wennapuwa and Chilaw.

The Parliamentarian charged that the people who voted for him have been against the government since the recent past as the government has been a let down.

Therefore MP Fernando said he will join hands with the people and engage in efforts to send this government home.

MP Arundika Fernando was removed from his post of Deputy Minister this afternoon.

The President’s Media Division said MP Fernando was removed by the Head of State through powers vested in him in accordance with clause 46(3)A of the Constitution.
