Yoshitha Rajapaksa the second son of former President Parliamentarian Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division to record a statement.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa was summoned before the Police FCID to record a statement pertaining to an on-going investigation over the purchase of a plot of land in Mount Lavinia and the subsequent construction of a luxury house.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa was issued summons to appear before the Police FCID on Tuesday however his attorneys had informed that he was unable to be present.

He arrived at the Police FCD around 11 this morning and is currently recording a statement at the premises.
