Medical Students’ Action Committee to attend lectures

The Medical Students’ Action Committee says they will attend academic activities from next Monday.

Convenor of the Committee Ryan Jayalath speaking to NewsRadio said students will sit for lectures from the 20th of November.

The Medical Students’ Action Committee refrained from attending lectures for a period of ten months in protest of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine.

However as a result of their actions the seniority of students who abstained from attending lectures has been affected due to poor attendance.
