Deputy Minister Ajith P Perera called for all details pertaining to phone calls revealed through the Presidential Commission Investigating the Treasury Bond Issue to be tabled in Parliament.

Joining the debate this afternoon the Deputy Minister said information pertaining to phone calls between Arjun Aloysius of Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. and 36 Parliamentarians has been uncovered.

The Deputy Minister said an investigation was held pertaining to the alleged phone calls between the 225 Parliamentarians and Arjun Aloysious.

He said the investigation revealed that 41 MPs contacted Arjun Aloysious, however, information relating to 5 MPs were released to the media, while the balance 36 were not released.

Deputy Minister Ajith P Perera said this is wrong since it is in conflict with the reputation of the MPs.

He said the information pertaining to all 41 MPs involved in the incident should be released to all 225 Parliamentarians.
