Minister of Justice Thalatha Athukorala says based on the recommendations made by the Bond Commission, steps will be taken to initiate action against those named in the report.

Speaking at a rally in Ratnapura Minister Athukorala stressed that steps will be taken to expedite the hearing of cases.

The Minister claimed with conviction, that if any accusations levelled against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe were proven, she will voluntarily resign from her post as a Minister adding that although anyone can hurl allegations, claims should be substantiated.

The Minister noted if any individual proposes to expedite the hearings the Ministry will be able to hear the cases on a daily basis and take action against the accused.
