39 Sri Lankans included in IPL auction


39 Sri Lankan players have been registered for the 2018 Indian Premier League auction set to be held on January 27 and 28 in Bangalore.

Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews and Niroshan Dickwella are among those included in the list.

A total of 1122 players have registered for the Indian Premier League auction A total of 26 players from England, 58 from Australia, 30 from New Zealand and 57 from South Africa have also registered for the auction. Afghanistan too will see 13 players in the list while there are as many as 39 players from Sri Lanka. 39 players from Windies too have entered the auction.

The BCCI said, the full list has already been sent out to the eight franchises. There are a total of 281 capped players, 838 uncapped players, which also includes 778 Indian players, apart from three players from Associate nations.
