India to develop Sri Lanka’s IT sector


India’s Minister of Law and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad says India will provide its utmost support to develop the Information Technology sector in Sri Lanka.

The Indian Minister made this statement during discussions with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Temple Trees this morning.

Ravi Shankar Prasad said the integrated mobile phone application of the new era launched by Premier Wickremesinghe and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi is being carried out successfully.

Meanwhile, Premier Wickremesinghe said discussions will be held in the future to obtain the India’s support in the IT sector.

Joining the discussion, Minister of Law and Order Sagala Ratnayake said discussions will be held with Singapore and India pertaining to cyber security.
