Mahmudullah unhappy with Bangladesh batters

Bangladeshi stand-in skipper Mahmudullah attributes the lack of application by batsmen for the loss against Sri Lanka today.

Bangladesh got a taste of their own medicine as Sri Lanka clinched the two-match Test series against the hosts with a 215-run win in Dhaka today.

Commenting on the loss Mahmudullah rued, “We should have been more careful with the choice of shots, on this wicket, first innings becomes crucial.”

The Bangladeshi stand-in skipper meanwhile commented on the Sri Lankan bowling attack stressing the spinners always kept the Bangladeshi batsmen under pressure.

Bangladesh will now take on Sri Lanka in a two match Twenty20 series.

The opening match of the series will get underway on the 15th of February in Mirpur.
