Navy recoveries related to COVID-19 rise to 250

13 Navy personnel who contracted the coronavirus have recovered after medical treatment and have been discharged from hospitals during the past 24 hours.
Navy Media Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Sooriyabandara speaking to NewsRadio said 250 Navy sailors have thus far recovered after contracting COVID-19 and have been discharged.
Among the 1,055 coronavirus positive cases in the country are 596 Navy personnel and 36 persons who are their associates.
The number of COVID-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka rose to 620 today with 16 patients being discharged after recovering during the past 24 hours.
Seven individuals were released from the Navy General Hospital, four from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, three from the Colombo East Base Hospital and two from the Welikanda Hospital.
Another 426 coronavirus positive cases continue to receive in-house treatment.
110 persons continue to remain under observation on suspicions of having contracted COVID-19.
