India’s COVID-19 cases show downward trend

The downward trend in India’s coronavirus cases is continuing as the country recorded less than 70,000 new COVID-19 cases for the first time since September 1.

With 66,732 patients testing positive for COVID-19, the country’s coronavirus tally crossed the 7.12 million mark.

India’s Health Ministry this morning said the total number of fatalities associated with the viral infection has increased to 109,150 with 816 succumbing to the disease in this period.

With 71,559 recoveries, active Covid cases in the country have come down to 860,000.

This is the fourth day in a row that active COVID-19 cases have remained below 900,000 in India.
