Covid-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka rise to 3,233

Another three persons have fully recovered from Covid-19 & been discharged from medical care in the past 24 hours, raising total recoveries recorded thus far from the virus in the island to 3,233.
Accordingly two individuals were released from the Welikanda Base Hospital, while one was discharged from the Hambantota District General Hospital.
Meanwhile the number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the country stands at 3,380, with the detection of six new patients yesterday.
134 COVID-19 patients including 23 foreign nationals are currently receiving medical treatment for COVID-19, at five hospitals across the country.
49 suspected COVID-19 cases also remain under medical observation at present.
