Title challengers Havelock Sports Club will host Sri Lanka Navy to kick-start the 12th week proceedings’ of the 2019/2020 Inter-Club Rugby League tournament this evening, at Havelock Park.

The game is slated to get underway at 1830 under floodlights.

Havies beat CH & FC 40-37 last week to secure a place in the Super Round of this year’s League tournament.

Navy on the other hand lost to table toppers Kandy SC 39-28 and is placed sixth in the table.

Meanwhile, two League games will be worked-off in Colombo, tomorrow.

CH & FC will take on Sri Lanka Air Force at the Racecourse Stadium in the bottom of the league clash.

The Maitland Crescent-based club is placed seventh in the standings with two wins while the Airmen are languishing at the base of the points table with a solitary win.

Both games will be worked-off from 4.15pm.

On Sunday, Reigning Champions Kandy SC will take on CR & FC in a mouth watering top of the table clash in Nittawela from 4.15pm.

Unbeaten Kandy are favourites to consolidate their winning run at home while the CR unit will be heading to the hill capital to avenge their first round defeat.

The first round fixture between the two teams saw Kandy edging past the Reds 41-27.

Although the outcome of the fixture will not have any bearing on the League standings, CR will be looking for a confidence-boosting victory ahead of the Super Round games which will determine this seasons Domestic Rugby Champions.
