Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 10 wickets in their 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Dubai International Stadium last night.

RCB set a 164-run target for Hyderabad, after half-centuries by debutant Devdutt Padikkal and AB de Villiers.

Hyderabad looked set to win during their chase, but the crucial wickets of Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow, both to Yuzvendra Chahal, turned the tide in Bangalore’s favour.

Chahal was the star bowler for RCB, notching three crucial wickets while Navdeep Saini and Shivam Dube chipped in with two wickets, as the Virat Kohli-led team got off to a winning start.

Hyderabad was eventually bundled out for 153 in 19.3 overs.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will take on Chennai Super Kings in the fourth match of the tournament at 7.30pm.
