210 COVID-19 cases from Colombo yesterday

A total of 210 out of the 351 COVID-19 cases detected in the country yesterday were confirmed from the Colombo district.
The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak said 312 new cases were linked to the Peliyagoda fish market.
Out of the new cases, 159 are from the Colombo city limits while 32 cases from Mattakkuliya, seven from Borella, three from Mutwal and two cases of coronavirus were also identified from Grandpass.
The Operations Centre noted that 55 cases from Dompe, 17 from Wattala, five from Minuwangoda, three from Kirulapone and one COVID-19 case from Biyagama had also been confirmed through PCR tests.
Furthermore, seven coronavirus cases had been identified from Ja-Ela, six from Attanagalla, three each from Seeduwa and Gampaha, two from Narahenpita and one COVID-19 case each had been detected from Wellawatte, Dematagoda and Neluwa, yesterday.
