237 COVID-19 cases detected from Colombo

Of the 335 COVID-19 cases detected in the country yesterday, the highest number were identified from the Colombo District.

237 cases were identified from the Colombo District.

161 cases were detected from Colombo, 21 from Mattakkuliya, 17 from Kesbewa, six each from Kirulapone, Modara and Narahenpita, five from Wellawatte, four from Kotahena, three each from Maligawatta and Borella, two from Pamankada, and one each from Wellampitiya, Kaduwela and Thummulla.

75 cases were detected from the Gampaha District including 52 from Wattala, 22 from Mahara and one from Divulapitiya, while 10 cases were detected from Bandaragama in the Kalutara District.

Four cases each were also detected from the Kurunegala and Nuwara Eliya districts.

Three cases were identified from the Hambantota District and one each from the Galle and Puttalam districts.
