465 discharged; COVID-19 recoveries rise to 14,962

465 individuals who recovered from COVID-19 have been discharged during the past 24-hours.
Coronavirus recoveries accordingly increase to 14,962.
78 persons were discharged from the Bingiriya treatment centre, 76 from the Panideniya treatment centre, 48 from the 48 Police Training School, 45 from the Neville Fernando Hospital, 38 from the Samanalawewa treatment centre, 21 from the Rambukkana treatment centre and 20 from the Welikanda Base Hospital.
5,456 individuals are currently being treated for COVID-19 at 56 hospitals and treatment centres.
601 persons suspected to have contracted the coronavirus are currently under observation.
The number of coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka is currently at 20,508 with the detection of 337 patients yesterday.
335 cases were identified as contacts of the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster.
