Sajith Premadasa holds talks with Akira Sugiyama

Japan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Akira Sugiyama has vowed to provide Sri Lanka with necessary funds and essential medical instruments amidst the surge of COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka.
A special discussion between Sugiyama and Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa at the Opposition Leader’s Office today.
MP Premadasa said Sri Lanka requires support in rebuilding as the country faces a third wave of the coronavirus.
Premadasa noted Sri Lanka and Japan hold a long-standing relationship adding that Japan has extended its support whenever Sri Lanka is faced with a crisis.
He said the Samagi Jana Balawegaya will continue to stand by the public.
