The Ceylon Teachers Union will launch a series of protests today over the failure by government representatives to provide a favourable solution to concerns surrounding salary anomalies of principals and teachers.

Chairman Joshep Starlin speaking to NewsRadio said a protest will be held opposite the Fort Railway Station at 10am today.

Stalin demanded that the government address the teacher and principal salary anomalies, claiming that failure to do so will result in the union launching protests at all 10,164 schools on the 26th of May.
