The Sri Lanka Ports Authority has rejected claims that the Colombo Harbour has been partially closed after two of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Issuing a statement, the Authority said all container terminal operations and activities of other divisions are continuing as per usual.
The Authority said two employees of the Harbour Maritime Terminal had tested positive for COVID-19 adding that the areas the duo had been deployed to, are closed temporarily.
The Ports Authority therefore urged all factions to publicise only verified information at this juncture.
