France has lifted its travel advisory to Sri Lanka.

The French Embassy in Colombo said it is important to pay attention to the instructions by the security forces, to submit to the controls and to avoid political or religious gatherings throughout the territory.

The trade advisory was imposed following the bombings carried out by the IS on the 21st of April in Colombo, Negombo and in Batticaloa.

The French government called for its citizens to remain vigilant as the state of emergency is still in place in Sri Lanka.
