‘Indigenous medicine given at quarantine centres’

State Minister Sisira Jayakody says they have begun administering indigenous medicine to individuals currently at quarantine centres.
Speaking to media the State Minister said it is daily evident that quality results can be achieved through traditional indigenous medicine.
The State Minister also expressed his disappointment at certain individuals having expressed unwillingness to resort to local treatment methods.
He pointed out that Western countries including developed hospitals are faced with many obstacles as the number of patients including death tolls increase daily.
The State Minister said the opportunity has not arisen to carry out trials on COVID-19 cases, adding that those in quarantine centres are however being administered indigenous medicines.
