The government has been imposing curfew to various in the country since a spike in cases of coronavirus in March.

Following weeks of lockdown, infection rates reduced drastically and Sri Lanka reported only a few daily cases of coronavirus until the detection the cluster now known as Minuwangoda COVID-19 cluster on the 4th of October.

The government then resorted to impose curfew and various restrictions after the emergence of the Minuwangoda cluster.

As it stands, quarantine curfew is in effect in 68 police areas in four districts, namely Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Kurunegala.

Colombo North Division

Nugegoda Division

Wellampitiya, Welikada, Mulleriyawa, Homagama & Gothatuwa

Mount Lavinia Division

Moratuwa
