Parliamentary debate on forensic audit begins today

The debate on the forensic audit conducted into the controversial Central Bank bond issuances, will be held in Parliament both today and tomorrow.
The proposal was tabled before the house by the JVP. Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprise Parliamentarian Sunil Handunnetti said the forensic audit consists of five reports and contains nearly 10,000 pages.
Meanwhile the United National Party had conducted a special programme to inform UNP MPs of the forensic audit.
On a separate note the Committee on Public Enterprise has summoned three institutions including Sri Lanka Cricket and the Bureau of Foreign Employment, to appear before the committee over the course of the next three days.
