PCoI on Easter attacks postpones sessions

Sessions of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the Easter Sunday attacks have been temporarily suspended until Saturday due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

When inquired by NewsRadio Secretary PB Herath said a decision will be reached on Saturday pertaining to a date when operations will resume.

Former President Maithripala Sirisena was due to appear before the Commission tomorrow to record a statement pertaining to the attacks.

Several high profile figures have appeared before the Commission to record statements over the past few months.
