PCR tests required from outbound passengers

All outbound passengers using the Bandaranaike International Airport and other airports in the country will be required to have their PCR tests completed within 72 hours of their departure time.
The Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. said the new directive will come into effect from 6pm today.
Speaking to NewsRadio, Vice Chairman Rajiv Sooriyarachchi said the new directives were issued following the spike in COVID-19 cases in the country.
He requested the public to support the measures taken by authorities to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
