The National Drug Control Board, on the advice of the Presidential Task Force on Economic Revival and Poverty Eradication, has granted permission for pharmacies to utilise pharmacy license as a curfew pass, to distribute pharmaceutical drugs to residences of the general public, in areas where curfew has been imposed.
Accordingly, Director General of the Board stated pharmacies will be able to deliver drugs directly to patients without facing any obstacles.
However, he urged pharmacies to follow quarantine and health safety regulations and directives issued by the National Drug Control Board in this regard.
