Speaking to NewsRadio Piyadasa said broad discussions are vital in order to determine how to face the upcoming general election.
He remarked that 17 political parties including the SLPP and SLFP, engaged in dialogue to form a broad alliance over the course of the past two years, adding the Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Alliance was established amidst the backdrop of the Presidential election.
