Presidential Election complaints rise to 3,214

The number of complaints lodged pertaining to the upcoming Presidential Election has risen to 3,214.
The Election Commission issuing a statement said 131 complaints have been recorded during the past 24 hours, ending at 4pm yesterday.
3,087 complaints have been lodged over the flouting of election laws while 25 incidents of violence have also been reported.
102 other complaints also related to the Presidential Election have been lodged since the submission of nominations on the 8th of October.
A total of 964 complaints have been lodged at the National Election Complaints Management Centre while 2,250 complaints have been lodged at the District Election Complaints Management Centre thus far.
