Report on financial firms to CBSL Governor today

The committee appointed to look into discrepancies at financial and leasing companies will submit its report to the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Prof. WD Lakshman today.

The acceptance of complaints related to discrepancies and illegal activities related to such institutions concluded yesterday.

The committee stated that it received 60 complaints in this regard.

A majority of complaints were lodged over discrepancies in interest rates, reacquiring assets and illegal leasing and financial firms.
