South Korea & SL PMs hold talks on bilateral ties

South Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun has held talks with his Sri Lankan counterpart Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa this morning via phone.
Issuing a statement, the Prime Minister’s Media Division said the two leaders discussed key areas of bilateral interest including education, investment and tourism.
Attention was also drawn to further technical assistance for the Ocean University, for which the Korea International Cooperation Agency has already provided assistance.
Prime Minister Rajapaksa requested the Korean Prime Minister’s support in driving investors to Sri Lanka, when the COVID-19 pandemic improves.
Premier Rajapaksa also extended an invitation to Prime Minister Chung to visit Sri Lanka post COVID-19, which was received well by the Korean Prime Minister.
