Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 recoveries rise to 3,395

10 more coronavirus infected persons have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals during the past 24 hours.
Accordingly, the number of COVID-19 recoveries has increased to 3,395.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said four COVID-19 patients have been released from the Welikanda Base hospital, three from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, two from the Hambantota District hospital and one individual has been discharged from the Iranawila hospital during the past day.
Accordingly, 1,946 patients including 14 foreign nationals are currently receiving medical treatment for coronavirus at 17 hospitals across the country.
255 suspected COVID-19 cases are also under medical observation.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the country has risen to 5,354 following the detection of 110 patients yesterday.
All new cases reported yesterday were linked to the Minuwangoda cluster.
