The Department of Wildlife Conservation says all tourist accommodations and camping sites under its purview will reopen for tourists from today.

The establishments and sites were closed following the second wave of COVID-19 in the country.

Accordingly, locals who made reservations at lodges and camping sites for the month of December will be able to visit on the relevant days.

The Department also said individuals who made reservations between the 2nd of November and 3rd of December, can reschedule reservations for a date between today and the 31st of March 2021.

A release by the Department stated that all individuals visiting camping sites and lodges must strictly adhere to COVID-19 prevention regulations.
