No room for separatism -Mano

Minister Mano Ganesan says there is no room in the country for separatism and racism.

The Minister speaking at a function in Colombo today said the present need is for Sri Lankans to work in unity.

Minister Genesan said at a time that unnecessary issues are being created and placards are being held up, the government has introduced a national programme, where Sri Lankan’s are prioritised.

He said multi races are the country’s strength with all citizens considered Sri Lankan.

The Minister added the government will not allow the North or the South or any part of the country incite separatism or racism and destroy the country.
