Foreign units warned of April attacks in Sri Lanka

Minister Rajitha Senaratne today confirmed that international intelligence agencies had informed local authorities of pre-planned suicide attacks first, on the 4th of April.
Speaking during a media briefing at the Temple Trees, Minister Senaratne said a comprehensive probe must be launched over the inaction by relevant officials pertaining to intelligence reports.
Minister Rajitha Senaratne added Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had not been informed of the planned attacks on Sri Lankan soil.
